This year is the 17th time around for the Bike Marathon held in the “Salzburg Sports World”:
Over 2,000 bikers are once again starting and finishing in Radstadt, bringing great honor to the name of the city. On 16.05.2010 things get going from the city square: 98 or 178 kilometres await the participants, serving up
first-rate cycling challenges to beginners and pros alike as they pass through all eight communities of the Sports World. Entering the event is more attractive than ever: scaled entry fees, early-booker bonus, vouchers and energy packages are all included on payment of the entry fee and tailored specifically to the marathon itself. Each competitor also receives a starting gift. Additionally, there is a PowerBar Relaxing Zone with massages, as well as a new ranking system featuring two age classes. The fringe program adds to the cordial atmosphere of the racers’ camp: musical entertainment, “Noodle Get-together” at local restaurants, and a scientific presentation on correct race training add the finishing touches to the Amadé Bike Marathon. The competitors never leave Radstadt disappointed!
